Ian Davenpor t (Kent, 1966). Both the gravity of the weight of matter and the consistency of paint are fundamental for the final formalization of his works, based on physical principles and materials above conceptualizations or theories. His aesthetic, marked by a powerful abstraction and by the geometry of the lines of colour, interact with sliding surfaces and printing plates.
